Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level II-III NICU setting. Ensure patient safety and promote positive outcomes through expertise in neonatal interventions and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients based on established protocols and best practices.
- Administer respiratory support, medications, and perform procedures such as central line management and ostomy care.
- Monitor vital signs, clinical status, and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems such as CPN and Meditech.
- Adhere to unit policies, participate in team shifts, including weekend coverage, and follow safety standards, including BLS and NRP certifications.
Qualifications: - Valid and current RN license with at least 1 year of NICU experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Level II-III NICU procedures and patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment under stressful conditions.
- Certified in BLS and NRP.
- Experience with respiratory equipment such as HFOV, CPAP, and conventional vents preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
