Job Summary

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in the medical facility district of Plano. The role involves providing specialized neonatal patient care in a busy NICU with a focus on teamwork and clinical excellence. The position is scheduled for night shifts and requires a commitment of at least 36 hours per week starting August 17, 2026.

Job Details
  • Schedule:

    Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications:

    Valid RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, at least 3 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience, and current licensure to practice in the state of Texas
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience in Level III-IV NICU settings, familiarity with HFOV, Central Lines, conventional vents, CPAP, NIPPV, and Ostomy care; team-oriented personality
  • Additional Information:
    Must have Level II-III NICU experience. Typical procedures performed include surgery (excluding heads and hearts), respiratory support, and micro-premie care. The unit consists of 41 beds with a staff of over 60 RNs, including a charge nurse during each shift. The unit utilizes EMR systems such as CPN and Meditech. Dress code is scrub attire in royal blue. The unit operates with 4 weekend shifts every 4 weeks and does not require on-call duty.
