Registered Nurse (RN) – Pre-Op ​/ PACU (Full-Time, No Weekends

Digestive Health Center of Plano is seeking a Full‑Time Pre‑Op/PACU Registered Nurse to join our team Monday through Friday—no weekends, holidays, or on‑call. This role offers a fast‑paced outpatient setting with a balance of high‑quality patient care and predictable hours.

• Prepare patients for procedures, including assessments, education, and care planning.
• Provide attentive post‑anesthesia recovery care and monitor patient status.
• Administer medications and follow physician orders accurately.
• Deliver patient education, including discharge instructions and follow‑up care.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
• Support a safe, clean, and efficient clinical environment.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

• Active RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience in GI, PACU, OR, or acute care preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and assist with patient movement up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and ability to perform clinical procedures.
• Work in procedure rooms with medical equipment and disinfecting agents.
• Exposure to blood borne pathogens and body fluids.
• Climate‑controlled environment with occasional reduced lighting.
• Schedule and hours may vary based on patient and Center needs.
