Registered Nurse Emergency Room

$1591.20/week -

Job Summary:

Provide bedside nursing care in the Emergency Department for a busy Level 1 trauma center. Ensure timely, compassionate patient care while adhering to hospital policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' conditions upon arrival and throughout their stay in the ER.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including trauma and cardiac events.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas RN license or compact licensure eligible.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency department nursing experience.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and on-call.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
