Job Summary:
Provide specialized neonatal intensive care to critically ill and premature infants within a fast-paced NICU setting. Deliver comprehensive clinical care, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive neonatal care, including respiratory support, central line management, and Ostomy care.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely intervention and reporting.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, procedures, and progress in the EMR system.
- Adhere to unit policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
- Support family education and provide emotional support to families of neonatal patients.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with current licensure in the state.
- Minimum of 1 year of Level II-III NICU experience required;
Level III-IV experience preferred. - Certified in BLS and NRP.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and clinical skills.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and compassion.
- Experience with advanced neonatal equipment such as HFOV, ventilators, and CPAP.
