Certified Medication Aide

Life Care Centers seeks a dedicated Certified Medication Aide to support seniors in our compassionate, patient-first community. In this role, you will safely administer medications, monitor residents for side effects, document care accurately, and assist with daily living needs. Responsibilities

• Administer routine medications to residents under nurse supervision, following physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and adverse reactions, promptly reporting changes to nursing staff
• Document all medication administration accurately in electronic or paper MAR systems
• Assist residents with daily living activities, including hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures
• Maintain medication carts, supplies, and storage areas in a clean, organized, and secure manner
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines to protect residents and staff
• Communicate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
• Participate in shift reports, training, and quality improvement efforts to enhance care outcomes
