Description:
W-F 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. shift. The position requires taking 5-6 call shifts per month. Call options for this shift are 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday-Thursday or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday night. The unit specializes in neuro and spine procedures, orthopedic trauma, total joint revisions, robotics, plastics, and trauma. The unit accommodates a total of 23 beds.
The staffing level includes more than 85 team members, including nurses and support staff. Patient ratios are 1:1. The department is staffed 24/7, with both 10 and 12-hour shifts available. Candidates must be proficient in the required skill set, as those without will not be considered for the role. Preferred skills include additional specialties in the operating room setting. The dress code requires scrub colors of ceil blue or royal blue for nurses.
