Position: RN - OR

Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room unit. This position involves working a Wednesday to Friday schedule from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with an expectation of 5-6 on-call shifts per month.

Staffing Structure

The unit is staffed 24/7 with responsibilities divided between day and night shifts:

Day Shift: Charge nurses, coordinators, nurse managers, transport, RNs, CSTs, and OR assistants.
Night Shift: Charge nurse, 2 RNs, 2 CSTs, anesthesia tech, and OR assistants.

Typical Procedures

Neuro / Spine surgeries
Orthopedic procedures – trauma, total joint replacements, and revisions
Robotic surgeries (gyn, colorectal, thoracic, urology)
Plastic surgeries
Trauma – Level 1

Qualifications

Must-have skills:

Orthopedics
Neuro / Spine
Robotics
Plastic surgery
Trauma experience

Personality Fit

The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Dress Code

Scrubs should be in either ceil blue or royal blue for nurses.

On-Call and Weekend Requirements

On-call shifts are required, with staffing available for 10 and 12-hour shifts.

Experience Required

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.
