As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead the development and execution of quality systems and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
Required Education and Experience
- 5+ years of quality management experience in the printing and packaging industry
- Expertise in ISO 9001 and familiarity with FSC, SFI, and PEFC certifications
- Proven experience managing teams and leading quality improvement initiatives
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
General Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in QMS software and data analysis tools; QCBD experience is a plus
- Certifications such as CQM, CQA, or Lean Six Sigma are a plus
Essential Functions
- Develop and oversee the site Quality Management System (QMS)
- Lead quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with customer expectations and regulatory standards
- Resolve and monitor CAPA plans effectively
- Conduct audits and evaluate quality processes
- Analyze quality metrics to drive data-based decisions
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Train and mentor staff on quality systems and procedures
- Manage supplier quality systems and conduct evaluations
- Represent the company in external quality engagements
- Supervise the Quality Department and promote a culture of accountability and excellence
- Perform other related duties as assigned
