JOB SUMMARY

Maintain FSQA sampling programs, support quality evaluations and quality programs with good communication and support to FSQA team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with internal partners (PD, warehouse, analytical lab, testing agency, etc) to receive products/pallets to the FSQA lab and ship out samples to plants or testing locations.
  • Maintain current inventory of samples and communicate active inventory of samples with FSQA team.
  • Submit samples to Analytical lab for testing to include logging sample information into analytical database, test selection, labeling of samples and coordinating with analytical team for results.
  • Support Competitive Quality program with monthly schedule updates, sample coordination and updating competitive and plant data entry as needed in Excel and in PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn and utilize unique software for inventory management, lab testing requests and to review and pull in plant analytical data.
  • Help prepare for FSQA meetings with sample presentation including DOQ (Day of Quality), team meetings and quality monitoring evaluations.
  • Maintain the quality lab and inventory and discard samples when expired with communication to project owners of expiration date.
  • Other tasks as required.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong general computer knowledge and ability to navigate in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Strong general computer skills with working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability work with independently to meet or exceed deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Can lift light weights up to 25 lb.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and change.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills plus good organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of High School degree with some college preferred.
  • Interest in Food Science/ Nutrition a plus.
Schedule

20 Hrs/week Tues, Wed, Thurs with some flexibility for additional days
