Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams
Detect, track, and document software defects, performance issues, and inconsistencies
Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and performance test cases for mobile apps and system features
Analyse test results and provide detailed reports and feedback to the development team
Validate firmware, connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE/5G), and hardware interactions
Conduct manual and automated testing as per defined procedures and quality criteria
Perform testing throughout all phases of the mobile software life cycle - design, develop, test, release, and maintenance

Required Skills, Experiences, Education and

Competencies:

Beginner: 0 3 years of experience in mobile software or QA testing
Ability to handle multiple testing tasks and prioritize effectively
Strong understanding of mobile Android OS platforms and device ecosystems
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration abilities
Excellent time-management and documentation skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Plus, with Experience with mobile test tools (e.g., ADB, Jira, Test Rail, or similar)

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $30.00 to $35.00/hr rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
