Research Scientist, Clinical Research
Responsibilities
- Design and execute primary consumer research using qualitative and quantitative methods
- Own the analysis and reporting delivery of research findings and insights
- Support the product research team by leading in the collaboration of defining research objectives and research projects
- Synthesize primary, secondary and public research sources to deliver research findings
- Collaborate closely with partners (external vendors) and peers to generate effective research plans to ensure output and deliverables are internally actionable
- Compare related competitor applications and products for strengths, weaknesses, user perspective and actionable insights
- Evaluate new product concepts for usability issues while trying new features or assessing UX design documents
- 5+ years of experience doing consumer research, with an emphasis on qualitative techniques including research design, recruiting, interviewing, online platform usage, analysis, video usage, reporting
- Proficiency using online survey tools, examples are scout, Poll fish and Qualtrics
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, with demonstrated technical learning and work in consumer electronics preferred
- Excellent communicator in interviewing and soliciting verbal input. Experience writing documents for influence. Solid numerical and data analysis skills
- Bilingual in English/Korean is a plus
- At least a bachelor’s degree in related field, with demonstrated technical aptitude. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
- Experience in the consumer electronics industry is preferred
- 5+ years of experience is required
$50.00–$53.00/hr.
Pay TransparencyThe typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $50.00–$53.00/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
