Role OverviewStrategic Market Intelligence Analyst – lead market assessments and strategic analysis for the professional power supply industry. Identify market opportunities, evaluate growth drivers, analyze competitive dynamics, assess customer adoption trends, supply chain dynamics, and monitor disruptive technology transitions that impact power conversion and power supply solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Market Intelligence & Industry Analysis – identify, monitor, and analyze key market drivers influencing the global power supply and power electronics market; develop comprehensive market models including TAM, SAM, SOM; assess market size, growth rates, profitability, emerging opportunities across telecom, data center, industrial segments.
- Customer & End‑Market Analysis – analyze customer segments and identify attractive market pockets; quantify customer market share, wallet‑share, adoption rates, growth potential; develop models of future customer demand.
- Competitive & Ecosystem Intelligence – build and maintain competitive landscape assessments covering market positioning, product portfolios, technology differentiation, pricing strategies, market share trends; monitor emerging competitors; evaluate ecosystem readiness (channel, design, technology, manufacturing partners).
- Technology & Disruptive Trend Analysis – identify major technology transitions and disruptive trends; evaluate business implications of emerging technologies in power semiconductors, power conversion, management, data center power, AI infrastructure, telecom & industrial power systems, renewable energy, energy storage.
- Strategic & Investment Analysis – conduct market attractiveness studies; support investment evaluations, acquisition targets, partnership opportunities; develop strategic recommendations; analyze industry financial performance, valuations, investment trends.
- Executive Communications & Stakeholder Engagement – translate complex technical data into concise executive‑level insights; deliver presentations and recommendations; produce periodic market intelligence reports, competitive updates; collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- Education – Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical or engineering physics or related discipline; MBA or advanced business degree is a strong plus.
- Experience – 5–10 years in technology strategy, market intelligence, business development, product marketing, strategic planning, industry research, equity research, investment analysis, consulting.
- Industry – experience within hardware technology industries, specifically power supply, power electronics, semiconductors, data center infrastructure, telecom and industrial electronics or adjacent industries.
- Technical & Business Expertise – deep understanding of technology markets and hardware industry dynamics; proven track record in TAM/SAM/SOM analysis, market sizing, forecasting, competitive analysis, customer segmentation, investment and business case evaluations.
- Communication – ability to create executive presentations and strategic recommendations from complex datasets.
Reports to Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer.
