Member Specialist

What You'll Do

• Provide excellent member service and resolve member issues and concerns.
• Operate checkout equipment, process purchases, accept payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges, and maintain accurate receipts.
• Promote Sam's Club products and services and assist members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, arranging and transporting items.
• Maintain a safe and organized shopping environment by zoning areas, arranging merchandise, conducting safety sweeps, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Manage entrance and exit areas, verify membership, submit and maintain documentation, and execute emergency response procedures.
• Support security by identifying potential criminal activity, safeguarding assets, and maintaining audit logs.
• Assist in training and onboarding of new associate members, delivering new program rollouts and continuous learning opportunities.
• Assist in inventory handling, including returns, shrinkage identification, and correct merchandising.
• Collaborate with managers and co‑workers to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and communicate progress.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00*.

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
