About the Role:

The Cashier plays a crucial role in the retail environment by ensuring a seamless and efficient checkout experience for customers. This position is responsible for accurately processing transactions, handling cash, and maintaining a balanced cash register. Additionally, the Cashier will provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to enhance customer satisfaction. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with point of sale systems and cash handling procedures.
• Experience in a retail environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer transactions using a cash register and point of sale system.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including performing janitorial duties as needed.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring the cash register is balanced at the end of each shift.
• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the store.
