Role Description

The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Plano, TX. This role supports daily store operations, including supervising team members, coordinating shift schedules, and ensuring consistent, high-quality service. The Assistant Manager helps oversee food preparation standards, inventory levels, and cash handling procedures, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment. Day-to-day tasks include training and coaching staff, resolving guest concerns, monitoring product presentation, and assisting with opening and closing procedures.

The role also contributes to local marketing initiatives, supports implementation of company policies, and collaborates with the Store Manager to achieve sales and performance goals.

Qualifications
  • Experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality environments, with skills in customer service and team support.
  • Basic supervisory skills, including scheduling, task delegation, and coaching team members.
  • Competence in cash handling, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and managing daily reconciliation of sales.
  • Ability to maintain food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards in line with local health regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and teammates.
  • Organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Reliability and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Previous leadership or shift lead experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
