Position: Manager, Genesis After-Sales (South East Texas & Louisiana)

Genesis is seeking a Manager, Genesis After‑Sales to serve as liaison between Genesis Motor America and its retail stores. The role focuses on improving retailer performance in customer retention, satisfaction, parts and accessory sales, and profitability.

What You Will Do
  • Improve retailer performance in customer retention, customer satisfaction, parts and accessory sales, and profitability.
  • Communicate, implement, and assist retailers through programs, policies, and procedures that promote profitable parts and service departments.
  • Analyze retailer parts and service operations, identify deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions to ensure a proper Genesis brand image and retailer profitability.
How You Will Make An Impact
  • Regularly contact retailers to communicate, implement, and administer GMA programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor and advise retailer and regional management of retailer’s performance and adherence to policies in areas such as Customer Retention, Parts Sales, Inventory Control, Training, Warranty Administration, and Customer Satisfaction.
  • Work with retailers to ensure progress toward GMA objectives.
  • Provide technical support for vehicle operating issues, warranty repair procedures, and customer concerns.
  • Submit written reports to GMA.
  • Monitor retailer performance relative to the GMA retailer agreement.
  • Recommend operational improvements that maximize customer retention, satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Ensure consistent training attendance and participation at regional and satellite training classes.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints and coordinating solutions with distributors within the district.
  • Meet with customers as needed to resolve concerns.
  • Maximize Parts & Accessory Sales in the assigned district.
  • Administer GMA Goodwill funds to improve Customer Satisfaction and re‑purchase intent.
  • Represent Genesis Motor America in Better Business Bureau, State Lemon Law cases and support corporate attorneys.
  • Complete special projects and assignments as requested.
  • Identify deficiencies in parts and service departments and propose corrective actions.
  • Authorize repairs within Genesis policies and procedures for warranty and goodwill expenses.
  • Approve financial assistance for customer disputes to resolve issues in the best interest of the customer and Genesis.
What You Will Bring To

The Role
  • High school graduate (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Five to seven years of experience, including at least three years of wholesale automotive experience.
  • Retail experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of automotive retail operations.
  • Sound understanding of dealer sales, service, parts operations, and financial services.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; proficient PC user, Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in analytical, problem‑solving, and quantitative skills.
  • Customer service orientation with ability to propose solutions.
  • Business and financial literacy, including understanding key financial indicators.
  • Organizational and planning skills for managing multiple projects.
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills with integrity and stability under pressure.
  • Results‑focused mindset with drive for achievement and ability to prioritize.
  • Driver’s license and good driving record required to operate a company vehicle.
