Job DescriptionJob Summary
The Corporate Senior Director of National Sales will lead the team of National Account Managers responsible for driving topline sales into Aimbridge’s hotel portfolio. In addition to overseeing the strategies and initiatives for the team, the role will also be a direct sales role. This leader will report to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Qualifications- Bachelors' degree and minimum 6+ years’ experience in hotel sales.
- Experience in overseeing and managing a team.
- National sales experience preferred.
- Ability to balance projects, timelines and partner with remote stakeholders.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to think strategically and execute new ideas in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as in small interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work with industry partners and governmental and economic development agencies.
- Ability to cultivate relationships and effectively collaborate with diverse groups of stakeholders.
- Excellent project management skills.

- Ability to travel locally and regionally.
- Create goals and proactive strategic sales initiatives for national account directors.
- Establish and drive to achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets ; develop and implement sales action plans & sales activity/travel calendar to ensure success.
- Establish and maintain a database of key accounts/contacts for prospecting and ongoing account support
- Personal responsibility for a revenue producing market/segment, carry an individual goal as well as be responsible for team goal.
- Identify national sales accounts, markets, verticals appropriate for the National Sales Teams to cultivate new revenue opportunities for company hotels.
- Develop relationships and build the network of internal and external subject matter experts to fulfill financial needs of our hotel portfolio.
- Plan, coordinate, and track sales goals, results and team benchmarks for national sales team.
- Create departmental budget, key account reporting and tracking and billing to the properties and large key accounts.
- Support and organize national sales team professional development & training.
- Identify a calendar of sales events to promote Aimbridge Hotels at conferences, trade shows and client events. Manage budget for event attendance and fees.
- Develop positive relationships with above property sales teams to ensure quick lead response and conversion.
- Promote and elevate the success and contributions of national sales to the larger audience throughout the company
- Occasionally participate in owner/asset manager calls to highlight Aimbridge National Sales and opportunities for a specific portfolio of hotels.
- Conduct regularly scheduled national sales team meetings to review performance to goal and proactive sales efforts.
- Communicate sales results within the organization and to varying ownership groups.
- Actively manage global accounts and meet personal goals.
