Client Relationship Manager, Business Development
Role Overview
Client Manager responsible for managing client relationships for accounts ranging from 100 to 1999 lives, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, growth and profitability objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers and consultants.
- Collaborate with the sales team on account management strategies and solutions.
- Strategically manage the client lifecycle to recommend appropriate benefit solutions.
- Balance client needs with business objectives to achieve yearly financial growth goals.
- Analyze data to inform renewal decisions and drive client retention.
- Utilize sales enablement technology, including Microsoft Office, Tableau and Salesforce.
- Maintain effective communication in both virtual and live environments.
- Address client issues proactively and resolve conflicts with sound judgment.
- BA or BS degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of account management or sales experience.
- Experience in group insurance preferred.
- Strong customer service and relational skills with brokers/consultants and sophisticated clients.
- Analytical skill to influence renewal decisions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Tableau, Salesforce and related tools.
- Strategic and critical thinking, basic math skills and adaptability to change.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Comfortable collaborating across internal teams and selling in a team setting.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain a positive attitude.
Must obtain required industry licensing within 90 days of hire and maintain the license through continuing education.
CompensationSalary range: $54,690.00 – $89,850.00. Eligible for additional annual, sales or incentive compensation.
Location & TravelDallas/Fort Worth, TX with up to 25% travel within the U.S.
