Senior Account Manager – Data Center & Critical Power Solutions

We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen our presence within the data center and critical power markets
, with a primary focus on UPS and power infrastructure solutions.
This is a strategic, customer-facing leadership role responsible for managing enterprise accounts, developing channel partnerships, and leading regional growth initiatives. You will work closely with customers, sales leadership, engineering, product management, and operations to deliver innovative solutions while mentoring sales teams and driving long-term business success.
The ideal candidate combines technical knowledge of critical power infrastructure with strong business development, account management, and leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Account Management- Own and grow a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts within the data center and critical power markets.
- Develop and execute long-term account strategies aligned with customer objectives and business goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expansion projects, and emerging market segments.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing strategic, technical, and commercial guidance.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to account managers, sales managers, and supporting sales staff.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Lead cross-functional teams involving engineering, product management, operations, and executive leadership.
- Share best practices and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of sales processes and methodologies.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with channel partners, system integrators, consultants, and colocation providers.
- Drive partner enablement, joint business planning, and performance optimization.
- Ensure partner strategies align with overall go-to-market objectives and revenue goals.
- Maintain a strong understanding of critical power infrastructure, including:
- Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)
- Power Distribution Units (PDU)
- Static Transfer Switches (STS)
- Busway systems
- Switchgear
- Related electrical infrastructure solutions
- Partner with engineering and applications teams to develop customer-specific solutions.
- Support customers with application design, technical specifications, system integration, and solution implementation.
- Achieve or exceed revenue, margin, and growth objectives.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM reporting.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, proposals, and business reviews.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies.
- Support strategic planning, product launches, and market development initiatives.
- Represent the organization at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Mechanical Engineering (BSME) is strongly preferred.
- MBA is a plus.
- 5–10+ years of progressive experience in:
- Data center infrastructure
- Critical power systems
- Power distribution
- Cooling technologies
- Related electrical or industrial infrastructure markets
- Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following:
- Selling data center infrastructure equipment, including UPS, generators, switch gear, power distribution, or cooling systems.
- Managing strategic relationships with colocation providers, hyperscale operators, or enterprise data center customers.
- Technical expertise in critical power or data center infrastructure solutions.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong consultative selling, strategic account management, and customer relationship skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and executive engagement abilities.
- Strong business acumen and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives.
- Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Experience working with channel partners, EPC firms, consultants, or system integrators.
- Knowledge of enterprise and hyperscale data center environments.
- Mandarin language proficiency is a plus.
