Sales Manager
Location:
Plano, TX or Remote
Overview:
Seeking a results-driven Sales Manager responsible for developing new business opportunities within electronics manufacturing services. This role focuses on building customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and converting prospects into long-term partnerships through a consultative, technical sales approach. The ideal candidate has experience selling manufacturing solutions and can support customers throughout the product lifecycle, from design and prototype through production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new customer relationships through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Identify sales opportunities within automotive, industrial, consumer electronics, medical, telecommunications, and IoT markets.
- Lead customer meetings, facility visits, presentations, and technical discussions.
- Build and maintain relationships with engineering, purchasing, quality, operations, and executive teams.
- Understand customer needs and position manufacturing capabilities as effective solutions.
- Manage sales pipeline, forecasts, CRM activity, and opportunity tracking.
- Support RFQs, proposals, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations.
- Partner with engineering, production, and quality teams to deliver customer solutions.
- Maintain strong communication, follow-up, and account growth strategies.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in electronics manufacturing or related industries.
- Experience with SMT, PCBA, box-build assembly, or automotive electronics preferred.
- Proven success generating new business and converting prospects into opportunities.
- Experience working with OEM customers and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to understand technical manufacturing processes, drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
- Existing industry network preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to travel 25–50% as needed. Local travel within the Dallas–Fort Worth area may be required.
