Assistant Relationship Manager

Overview

Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) within the Dealer Sales Pod. The ARM leverages the Sales System and protocol to ensure an iconic experience between the dealer and Capital One. The ARM enables ASM, DSM, and RM partners to focus on building best-in-class relationships and delivering solutions through consultative selling.

• Serve as the main point of contact for dealer customer service escalations.
• Provide high-touch concierge service to dealer partners.
• Develop a deep understanding of Capital One products and programs; monitor dealer activity and proactively enable Sales Pod members to be more effective through dealer conversations.
• Cultivate positive relationships with dealer customers to become their primary contact for service and execution needs.
• Act as a support and administrative coordinator between Capital One and dealership customers.
• Manage and resolve outstanding dealer sales items (e.g., dealer agreements, product cancellations, title issues, dealer receivables) and other dealer-facing items.
• Engage in high levels of dealer communication via inbound/outbound calls, email, and dealer messaging.
• Leverage a broad range of systems and internal teams to resolve dealer issues.
• Educate dealer customers on Capital One Auto Finance programs, tools, platforms, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate cross-departmentally to solve problems and be the primary dealer contact for internal Dealer POD funding, sales, and administrative escalations.
• Support sales partners with business development by communicating opportunities, scheduling sales appointments, solving dealer-related problems, and collaborating to grow business.

Candidate profile: energetic, effective communicator with strong multitasking, efficient typing, and attention to detail. Experience in quality assurance and process management is a plus; positive problem-solvers are welcome.

• Available ~3 Saturdays per month as needed to cover dealer inquiries and escalations (Tues/Fri off).
• In office 5 days a week for the first 90 days of training.
• Potential to work up to 2 Sundays per month with a rotating day off (Tue/Wed/Thu Off).

• Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Preferred Qualifications: Associate’s Degree; 2+ years of sales or customer service experience.
