Sales Representative

Optimum, a leader in telecommunications and media, is seeking a Sales Representative to drive residential and small business growth. In this role, you'll prospect, qualify, and close new customers for high-speed internet, TV, mobile, and voice services, while growing revenue within an assigned territory. You will conduct in-person and virtual consultations, explain product features and bundle options, and tailor solutions to customer needs.

Responsibilities include meeting or exceeding sales targets, accurately processing orders, maintaining CRM records, and providing responsive post-sale support. You'll collaborate with local teams, attend community events, and uphold Optimum's customer-focused, performance-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify residential and small business customers within assigned territory
• Conduct in-person and virtual sales consultations to assess customer connectivity needs
• Present and explain Optimum internet, TV, mobile, and voice solutions and bundle options
• Close sales and meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Accurately process new orders, upgrades, and changes in CRM and sales systems
• Maintain detailed, up-to-date customer records and sales activity logs
• Provide responsive post-sale follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and reduce churn
• Collaborate with local teams on promotions, events, and targeted sales campaigns
• Participate in community events and outreach to build brand presence and leads
• Stay current on product updates, competitors, and telecom industry trends
