Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts seeks a part-time Senior Sales Associate to drive sales, rentals, and lessons enrollment in our retail store. In this customer-facing role, you'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting band and orchestra instruments, accessories, and services, while meeting personal and store sales goals. Responsibilities include product demonstrations, processing rentals and sales, merchandising, POS transactions, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

You'll collaborate with lesson and repair staff, support school service programs, and deliver student-focused service that reflects our mission of advancing music education.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative sales support to students, parents, and educators for instruments, rentals, and accessories
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales and rentals targets
• Process sales, rentals, and lesson enrollments using POS systems accurately
• Demonstrate products and explain features, benefits, and pricing options
• Support merchandising, stocking, and visual presentation standards
• Assist with in-store events and school outreach initiatives as needed
• Collaborate with lesson and repair teams to deliver seamless customer service
• Handle customer issues and returns in line with store policies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and student-friendly store environment
• Follow cash-handling and basic inventory control procedures
