Marksman Security Corporation is hiring for FLEX Dispatch Communications Officers.

Hourly Rate: $20.00 p/h

Hours: FLEX – Afternoon / Overnight, Part Time. Weekend and holiday availability required. Must be able to respond to work assignments with little to no advance notice.

Security Operations Center Experience required.

Bonus: $50.00 for having a Texas Guard Card at hire (redeemable after completion of a 90‑day probation period).

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor emails, access control, and alarm systems in real‑time.
• Monitor the facility's CCTV to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, locked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized people.
• Dispatch field security officers and emergency responders during incidents.
• Manage incoming phone calls and alerts via internal communications system, national weather, and act quickly and decisively.
• Document incidents accurately in security electronic reporting platforms.
• Follow standard operating procedures and escalation protocols.
• Utilize internal communications systems, including radio, intercom, telephone, PA systems, and computer‑based software with a high level of professionalism.
• Operate facility badging software, including enabling and disabling badges.
• Provide security support for various client projects and events.
• Administer all client policies for controlling access to client property.

Qualifications:

• At least 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Non‑commissioned security license through the state of Texas.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Monitoring and surveillance experience.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Previous security experience is required.
• Must be able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous experience utilizing security equipment and protocols required.
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug).
