Assistant Director of Safety & Security

Assists the Director of Safety & Security in the administration of the security ministry at Prestonwood Baptist Church and its entities ("PBC").

Responsibilities:

* Cultivate an atmosphere of PBC safety and security to be everyone's responsibility

* Strive to protect the reputation and perception of PBC

* Build positive relationships with staff, members, visitors, and/or students while maintaining a visible, reassuring presence

* Assist with training on safety and security processes, procedures, and policies

* Assist with compliance of local, state, and federal laws and regulations

* Assist in recruiting, training, and overseeing contract security officers, staff, and safety and security volunteers

* Assist with the scheduling of PBC security needs

* Assist with daily security operations, including access control, visitor management, and campus patrols

* Provide physical protection for church staff, others, and PBC physical assets

* Conduct safety assessments and recommend improvements

* Assist in the development, implementation, and review of the Emergency Operations Plan

* Assist in leading drills (fire, lockdown, evacuation, severe weather)

* Maintaining relationships with local law enforcement agencies and school districts

* Report incidents, accidents, and safety issues in accordance with approved methods and the appropriate standard of confidentiality

* Assist in overseeing security systems and surveillance camera systems

* Assist as assigned with PBC entities' safety and security

* Other duties as assigned
