Part Time Lobby Security Officer

$18.50 Per Hour | Part Time | Plano, Texas

Monday and Friday 7:00AM to 5:00PM (

We are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic, responsible person with a desire to work in a professional, customer service driven industry. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in front desk and lobby settings with a valid Security Guard Card and have active Texas State training and Guard Card licensing.

$50 Sign-On Bonus – Active Guard Card Already licensed? Associates who join with an active Guard Card on file will receive a $50 Sign-On Bonus, paid out upon successful completion of 90 days of employment.

• Front Desk — Customer service, access control, CCTV monitoring, package distribution, visitor announcements

• Monitor emails, access control, and alarm systems in real time.
• Monitor the facility's CCTV to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized people.
• Dispatch field security officers and emergency responders during incidents.
• Manage incoming phone calls and alerts via internal communications system, national weather, and act quickly and decisively.
• Document incidents accurately in security electronic reporting platforms.
• Follow standard operating procedures and escalation protocols.
• Utilize internal communications systems, including radio, intercom, telephone, PA systems, and computer-based software with a high level of professionalism.
• Operate facility badging software, including enabling and disabling badges.
• Provide security support for various client projects and events.
• Administer all client policies for controlling access to client property.

• At least 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Non-Commissioned security license through the state of Texas.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Monitoring and surveillance experience.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Previous security experience is required.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
