GSOC Supervisor – Dallas Metro – Plano Area

Job Description

Are you a security professional with sharp decision‑making skills and a passion for keeping operations running smoothly? We’re looking for a GSOC Supervisor to take charge, manage critical incidents, and lead our security team to excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC).
  • Monitor and assess real‑time security threats, incidents, and emerging risks.
  • Lead and develop a team of security operators to maintain a proactive security posture.
  • Coordinate emergency response efforts and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Implement and enhance security protocols, leveraging the latest technology.
  • Supervise GSOC Officers – manage, train, and provide guidance to GSOC personnel to ensure efficient operations.
  • Schedule and assign tasks – oversee shift scheduling, workload distribution, and task assignments to maintain 24/7 security coverage.
  • Quality Control – ensure all reports, logs, and security responses meet organizational standards.
  • Communication & Coordination – serve as a key point of contact between the GSOC, internal departments, law enforcement, emergency responders, and contract security management/security management.
  • System Maintenance & Upgrades – work with IT teams to maintain and enhance security technologies, including video surveillance, access control, and monitoring tools; inform the security manager and security management of any missing, damaged, or inoperative equipment or communications, alarm, CCTV, or other systems.
  • Process Optimization – continuously improve security protocols, response strategies, and risk mitigation procedures.
  • Training & Drills – conduct initial GSOC Officer training, security awareness training, emergency drills, and simulation exercises to prepare staff for real‑world scenarios.
  • Manage incident management and crisis response coordination.
  • Create and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for security operations.
  • Prepare and write reports for security incidents and compliance audits.
  • Use Microsoft Office Suite, security software, and reporting tools effectively.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in security operations, law enforcement communications center, emergency response, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) or Security Operations Center (SOC) environment is highly desirable.
  • 2–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a security‑related role.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment, crisis management, and emergency response protocols.
  • Proficiency in security monitoring systems, access control, and surveillance technologies (CCTV, intrusion detection, and alarm systems).
  • Strong team management and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent decision‑making and problem‑solving skills, especially under pressure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders, law enforcement, and executive leadership.
  • Ability to develop training programs, conduct security drills, and educate staff on security protocols.
  • Typing speed of 55–65 words per minute.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $54,080.00 per year.
  • Bonus for having a Texas Guard Card at hire: $50.00 (redeemable after completion of a 90‑day probation period).
  • Work schedule:

    Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
