Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Access Coordinator in Plano, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries, such as financial institutions. You will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and conduct routine patrols to deter security-related incidents. This people‑first role requires outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, and reliable team that values innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Monitor entrances and exits, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor activity to help support authorized access throughout the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following post orders and reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions requiring attention.
- Communicate with site contacts, staff, and/or emergency personnel regarding security‑related concerns, access requests, and incident updates in a professional manner.
- At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
- Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A state, county, or city‑issued security license is preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Application may be considered for candidates with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Drug screening required to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
