As a Security Officer Access Control Monitor in Plano, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a prominent location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. You may conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Monitor and document entry and exit activity, verify credentials, and report unusual or unauthorized access attempts in a calm, professional manner.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations with a problem-solving approach, following post instructions and established response guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, as directed by site needs and working conditions.
- Communicate with visitors, employees, and/or contractors regarding access procedures, site rules, and other security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
