Mechanical Partners Inc. is a leading MEP subcontractor serving commercial and industrial construction projects across North Texas. We are seeking a licensed Journeyman/Master Electrician to step into a field leadership role overseeing crews, coordinating work on‑site, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to code.
This is a hands‑on superintendent / lead electrician role
— not an estimating or office position.
Position Summary: The Lead Journeyman/master Electrician will serve as the on‑site electrical lead, managing daily field operations, supervising electricians and apprentices, coordinating with project management, and maintaining high‑quality installation standards across commercial construction projects.
A minimal Texas Journeyman Electrician license is required
. A Master Electrician license is welcome but not required.
- Field Leadership & Supervision
- Lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial construction job sites
- Assign daily tasks and ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards
- Mentor apprentices and junior electricians
- Serve as the primary electrical point of contact on‑site
- Installation & Technical Work
- Perform and oversee commercial electrical installations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Ensure work complies with NEC, local codes, and project requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve field issues efficiently
- Project Coordination
- Coordinate with Project Managers, other trades, and inspectors
- Track job progress and assist with scheduling and manpower needs
- Participate in jobsite meetings and inspections
- Ensure materials and tools are available and used properly
- Safety & Quality
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant job sites
- Perform quality checks to ensure work meets company standards
- Active Texas Journeyman Electrician (TDLR) license or Master– MIN REQUIRED
- 5+ years of electrical experience
- Ability to work full‑time in the field on commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of NEC and commercial electrical systems
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Commercial construction experience
- Prior lead electrician, foreman, or superintendent experience
- Master Electrician license
