What You’ll Do
As a Field Support Technician, you’ll get hands‑on experience while supporting essential low‑voltage and network infrastructure projects across the country:
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain low‑voltage systems, including Fiber Optics, Copper Cabling, Construction/Infrastructure components, and Telecommunications systems.
- Learn how to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Work with industry‑standard tools and testing equipment.
- Build expertise in cabling, networking fundamentals, and system integration.
- Partner with experienced technicians who will help you develop your technical abilities.
- Deliver excellent service while representing Black Box at customer sites.
- Follow all safety protocols and industry standards on each project.
We’re looking for early‑career talent with strong potential—not years of experience:
- Recent vocational/technical training OR strong interest in technology, electronics, or mechanical work.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, systems, and installation techniques.
- Solid problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and within a high‑performing team.
- A positive attitude and motivation to build a long‑term technical career.
- Bonus: Basic knowledge of networking, construction principles, or low‑voltage systems is helpful, but not required.

Hours: 40 hours/week + overtime as needed (project dependent)
