Apartment Make Ready Technicians

Essential Staffing Solutions (ESS) is hiring dependable, hard‑working Apartment Make Ready Technicians for temporary and temp‑to‑hire opportunities with top apartment management companies. Prior apartment maintenance experience preferred.

• Conduct thorough inspections of vacant units and identify necessary repairs or improvements.
• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical work, and appliance installation.
• Ensure all units are cleaned, functioning, and ready for occupancy by new residents.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team and property management to address any issues promptly.
• Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Assist with other property maintenance duties as needed.

• Must have your own tools.
• Minimum of 1 year of previous multifamily maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques.
• Ability to perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
• Knowledge of the English language.
• Must have valid I.D., reliable transportation, and pass a background check.
