Mechanic, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

The Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and vehicles to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role plays a key part in minimizing downtime and supporting daily operational needs through effective maintenance practices.

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment and vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and complete necessary repairs
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Inspect equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections
• Coordinate with internal teams to prioritize and schedule repair work
• Order and manage parts and supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Stay current on maintenance practices and technical updates
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Perform additional duties as needed

• Strong mechanical aptitude and repair skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues effectively
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and documentation
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Basic computer skills for tracking maintenance activities
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Experience with equipment, vehicle, or industrial maintenance
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and working with tools and equipment
• Ability to perform work in shop, warehouse, yard, or field environments
• Comfortability with exposure to machinery, tools, and varying environmental conditions
• Flexibility to work extended hours based on operational needs
