Mechanical Technician - Plano Campus

Performs preventive maintenance, operation, and repair of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical equipment for Facility Operations at Prestonwood Baptist Church, its campuses and entities ("PBC").

Responsibilities:

* Perform scheduled maintenance work and programming of Building Automated Systems

* Perform inspection of all major system equipment and perform equipment repairs as scheduled through the PBC work order system

* Install components necessary for building systems retrofits

* Provide operational skills to major building equipment including HVAC, electrical switch gear, fire alarm system, emergency generator, plumbing, etc.

* Inspect, test, service and monitor all mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis

* Set up and conduct tests of complete units and components under operational conditions for maintaining or improving equipment performance or other factors, or to obtain data for development, standardization, and quality control

* Record test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or test methods

* Change filters, clean coils and document preventive maintenance information in the PBC system and binder logs

* Work scheduled Sunday service and On-Call After Hour/Weekend rotations along with other Facility Operations technicians

* Other duties as assigned
