The City of Plano’s Public Works Department seeks skilled and dependable crew leaders for its Utility Operations team. These positions offer a hands‑on leadership role in maintaining and repairing the City’s water distribution and wastewater collection systems serving businesses and nearly 300,000 residents. Working under the direction of supervisors, crew leaders provide daily guidance to field staff, ensure safe work‑site practices, and operate various equipment to complete essential maintenance and repair work.

Ideal candidates possess hands‑on experience in utility construction or maintenance, a commitment to safety, and strong leadership skills to help train and guide team members in the field.
