Low Voltage Technician – Structured Cabling & Security Systems

Plano, TX - $19–$26/hr, weekly pay, benefits, and steady work with a national leader in low voltage staffing.

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems including CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A
• Pull, route, dress, label, and organize low voltage cabling pathways
• Install and support access control systems, cameras, and security devices
• Perform camera installations, cable runs, device mounting, and system connections
• Terminate voice/data jacks, patch panels, racks, and network equipment
• Work in K-12 school environments while following safety and installation standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and low voltage system layouts
• Troubleshoot cabling, access control, and camera installation issues
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsite conditions
• Work safely on ladders and lifts as required

• Previous commercial low voltage experience required
• Strong experience with structured cabling installations and Category cable pulling
• Experience installing access control systems and security cameras required
• Previous experience working in K-12 school environments preferred
• Must have a reliable vehicle and dependable transportation to job sites
• Must provide your own basic hand tools and required PPE
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and technical drawings
• Working knowledge of telecom/data networks preferred
• Lift certification is a plus
• OSHA and BICSI certifications are a plus
• Must be available to work Monday–Saturday, 12‑hour shifts
