Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Fence Installer role located in Plano, TX. The Fence Installer will measure and prepare job sites, set posts, assemble and install various types of fencing, and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards. Daily tasks include reading and following installation plans, using hand and power tools, mixing and pouring concrete, securing fence panels or materials, and cleaning up job sites after completion.
The role involves loading and unloading materials, driving to job locations as needed, and interacting professionally with clients to answer basic questions about installation and maintenance. The Fence Installer will work closely with team members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule and adhere to company processes and safety protocols.
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, post-hole diggers, and other installation equipment.
- Experience with basic construction, carpentry, or outdoor installation work, including measuring, leveling, and following layout plans.
- Knowledge of job site safety practices and willingness to follow company safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials, working outdoors in varied weather, and standing, bending, or kneeling for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to complete tasks accurately with minimal rework.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites in Plano, TX, and consistent punctuality and attendance.
- Effective communication skills and a professional, respectful approach when working with team members and clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior fence installation or related trade experience is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn company standards, take direction, and grow into more advanced installation or lead roles over time.
