Automation Maintenance Tech

Our client, a leader in innovative food equipment solutions, is seeking an Automation Maintenance Tech to join their team. As an Automation Maintenance Tech, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the automation and electrical systems for cutting‑edge kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for hands‑on technical work, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Automation Maintenance Tech

Location: Plano, TX

Pay Range: $40-45/hr (depending on experience)

• Support builds, installs, and full‑system troubleshooting of automated kitchen equipment
• Perform electrical troubleshooting including wiring faults, sensors, I/O, and power distribution
• Execute test runs and collect data to ensure system functionality
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues, and develop solutions to improve system reliability
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal operation

• 3+ years of automation/machinery maintenance or electrical troubleshooting experience
• Strong electrical knowledge and hands‑on wiring skills (sensors, relays, motors)
• Ability to wire and install electrical devices effectively
• Basic PLC knowledge is a plus
• Must be hands‑on, proactive, and interested in building, prototyping, and testing solutions
