Eagle Transmission West Plano is looking for a skilled Transmission Builder to join our team in Plano, TX! This is a hands‑on role where your expertise will keep vehicles running smoothly and customers back on the road. If you're passionate about precision craftsmanship and drivetrain systems, we want to hear from you.

• Disassemble, inspect, rebuild, and reassemble automatic and manual transmissions
• Diagnose transmission failures and identify worn or damaged components
• Measure and fit transmission parts to manufacturer specifications using precision tools
• Replace seals, gaskets, clutch packs, bands, and other internal components as needed
• Perform torque converter inspection and reconditioning
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the rebuild area
• Document repair procedures and parts usage accurately

• Proven experience in transmission rebuilding or drivetrain repair
• Strong knowledge of automatic and manual transmission systems
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced shop environment
• ASE certification or equivalent experience is a plus
