Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions to many of the world’s top‑recognised brands, is seeking talented individuals to support engineers for testing and lab maintenance. This role will travel at least 25% of the time and is primarily on‑site at the designated location.

What You’ll Do- Set up tests, test equipment, and test apparatus.
- Prepare test samples.
- Perform basic analysis of test data and routine calculations.
- Interact with customers in a professional manner.
- Follow diligent safety practices, including knowledge of OSHA standards and use of safety equipment.
- Work closely with engineers and follow directions to complete projects within policies and procedures.
- Perform daily cleanup and maintenance of labs, testing equipment, samples, and organise all tools and materials.
- Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology, and safety.
- Troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
- Obtain and record test data in accordance with standards.
- Perform other work as required.
- Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED. - Entry level – No experience required.
- Computer skills: MS Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook.
- Adhere to safety practices and policies.
- Work in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment with shifting priorities.
- Use basic shop equipment and hand tools.
- Review, understand, and convey technical information effectively.
- Apply common‑sense understanding to carry out simple instructions.
- Detail‑oriented with effective prioritisation and time management.
- Communicate and interact effectively in verbal, written, and presentation formats.
- Customer focused and quality driven.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable driving record.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Trade school certification or associate’s degree in a technical field.
- 1+ year of related experience.
- NRTL safety certification experience.
- Experience with PCB soldering, electrical wiring, and/or plumbing/HVAC systems.
