Our client in Plano, TX is seeking a Data Center Rack Stack Technician to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone with hands‑on experience independently building and installing server racks in a data center environment. The ideal candidate has experience working from rack elevation and cabling diagrams, performing structured cabling, and completing rack installations with minimal supervision.

What's the Job?- Perform rack and stack of servers, switches, routers, and other IT equipment in a data center environment.
- Uncrate, stage, mount, and install servers into racks while following rack elevation diagrams and technical documentation.
- Install, terminate, route, dress, secure, and label fiber optic, Ethernet, and power cabling using established cable management standards.
- Install racks, cabinets, patch panels, power strips, and other supporting infrastructure.
- Read and interpret rack elevations, cabling diagrams, and work instructions to complete installations accurately.
- Perform site inspections, maintain installation documentation, and ensure quality and safety standards are met throughout each deployment.
- Hands‑on experience independently performing rack and stack in a data center or structured cabling environment.
- Experience installing servers into racks and working with common data center hardware.
- Ability to read and follow rack elevation diagrams, cabling diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Experience installing, routing, labeling, and documenting fiber optic, Ethernet, and power cabling using industry‑standard cable management practices.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Applicants must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Plano, TX.
