Facilities Technician

Position Overview

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Facilities Technician.

• Position Type: Full time, Contract to Hire
• Duration: 12 months
• Location: Plano, TX 75074 (Onsite/1st shift 7AM-4:30PM)

• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility's structure, equipment and grounds, including all trades (mechanical, plumbing, etc.).
• Performs trades work, such as carpentry or painting, in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures.
• Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
• Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, drawings, and specifications.
• Requires knowledge of applicable standards or regulations and may require specific trade certifications.

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post‑Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
• HVAC experience.

• Pay Range: $21-$22/hr — based on education, experience, location, certifications, etc.
