Performs preventive maintenance, operation, and repair of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical equipment for Facility Operations at Prestonwood Baptist Church, its campuses and entities ("PBC").

Responsibilities include:

performing scheduled maintenance work and programming of Building Automated Systems, inspecting all major system equipment and performing equipment repairs as scheduled through the PBC work order system, installing components necessary for building systems retrofits, providing operational skills to major building equipment including HVAC, electrical switch gear, fire alarm system, emergency generator, plumbing, etc. Inspect, test, service and monitor all mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis, set up and conduct tests of complete units and components under operational conditions for maintaining or improving equipment performance or other factors, or to obtain data for development, standardization, and quality control, record test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or test methods, change filters, clean coils and document preventive maintenance information in the PBC system and binder logs, work scheduled Sunday service and on-call after hour/weekend rotations along with other Facility Operations technicians, and other duties as assigned.

Primary equipment responsibilities include chilled water systems, condenser water systems, boiler water systems, stand-alone heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, energy management systems/programming & scheduling, plumbing systems, chemical treatment systems, and food service equipment.

Requirements include growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of a Bible believing and preaching ministry, demonstrate willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes, 2-4 year technical, college, or university certificate preferred or 3-5 years related experience and/or training may substitute for educational requirement, excellent judgment and problem-solving skills, possess a current driver license, personal vehicle insurance and a clear driving record for clearance to drive PBC owned/rented vehicles, ability to work inside or outside in varying heat and cold consistent with weather conditions, ability to work flexible hours and shifts;

including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and PBC scheduled events, ability to perform physical activities requiring moving one's whole body, such as climbing, balancing, walking, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance and able to work at a desk with a computer screen for periods of time.
