Position Summary
Role summary:
The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration, is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings. This role involves interpreting technical schematics, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Technician leads and mentors team members, manages service calls, and supports preventive maintenance programs to optimize system performance.
Effective communication with customers and collaboration with management are essential to deliver reliable facility services while adhering to company standards and operational procedures.

Whatyou’ll do
Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ductwork and control panels, ensuring compliance with building codes and operational standards. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues across commercial and industrial equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on refrigeration units, walk-ins, and HVAC systems. Conduct inspections and maintain documentation in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, including refrigerant handling protocols.
Lead and mentor field teams, providing technical guidance and promoting safety practices. Coordinate service calls, manage workload using digital tools, and communicate effectively with customers and management. Operate company vehicles safely to complete service assignments within assigned regions and participate in on-call rotations.
Proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial or industrial settings. Strong ability to interpret layout plans, schematics, and building codes to ensure accurate system configuration. Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues and implementing preventive maintenance programs. Knowledge of OSHA standards and EPA 608 refrigerant handling protocols, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Skilled in operating heavy machinery and company vehicles safely, with valid documentation and adherence to maintenance policies. Effective communication skills to explain technical issues and collaborate with customers, management, and team members. Experience leading field teams and mentoring technicians on technical procedures and safety practices.

The hourly wage range for this position is $29.00 - $58.00
