Position SummaryThis role is responsible for defining and leading the engineering approach for complex features to deliver significant business outcomes. The Lead will architect, design, and deliver end‑to‑end solutions while mentoring a high‑performing team.
Responsibilities- Ensure the design and engineering approach for complex features aligns with the larger portfolio solution.
- Define the technology tool stack and evaluate new testing practices for the team.
- Enable continuous integration / continuous development (CI/CD) capabilities and engage with technical stakeholders to optimize pipelines.
- Guide and influence the team on design and best practices for high code performance.
- Deliver complex features with automation across multiple teams at the program level.
- Conduct research, prototype, and explore new toolsets for release management, CI/CD, and features.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish high‑level solution needs and work with architects on technical requirements.
- Hands‑on technical leadership: write production‑ready code for key features and initiatives while driving design, architecture, and implementation with .NET Core 8.
- Team mentorship: manage and mentor a team of .NET developers, providing technical guidance through collaborative design sessions, code reviews, and coaching.
- Architectural excellence: architect scalable, maintainable, and secure applications and champion best practices for coding standards, CI/CD, testing, and security.
- Strategic collaboration: partner with Product Managers, QA, and SRE to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and roadmaps.
- 10+ years of experience developing software in .NET 8 and C#.
- Hands‑on technical leadership or management role where active coding and design were maintained.
- Mastery of web applications and services using ASP.NET Core (Web API & MVC).
- Strong experience with relational databases, specifically Oracle.
- Proficiency with front‑end development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and modern frameworks like VueJS or React
JS. - Solid experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines and source control best practices (Git).
- Experience writing unit tests with NUnit or xUnit.
- Deep understanding of web security principles (e.g., OAuth 2.0) and API design patterns (REST).
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Direct experience in payments systems or Fin Tech industry.
