Description: Our client is currently seeking a Python Developer

Role: Python Developer

Location: Plano, TX / Columbus, OH (100% Onsite)

Job Type: Contract to Hire

• Develop, debug, and maintain Python-based applications in an AWS environment.
• Design and deploy API-driven solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, ECS, S3, Dynamo
  
  DB, RDS, and others.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
• Optimize API deployments for cost-efficiency, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate in a large corporate environment to deliver RESTful APIs and related tooling (e.g., Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI).
• Follow Agile practices and contribute to CI/CD, application resiliency, and security efforts.
• Gain familiarity with modern front-end technologies (e.g., Type Script and React
  
  JS) as needed.

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
• Experience in AWS-based API development using Python.
• Experience with AWS services for design and deployment of API-driven solutions (Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, ECS, S3, Dynamo
  
  DB, RDS, etc.).
• Proficiency with API development (RESTful) and related tools (Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI).
• Strong hands-on experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, AI/ML, mobile, etc.).

Familiarity with modern front-end technologies, including Type Script and ReactJS
