Developer, Android Developer, Software Development

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX / Plano, TX. Candidates must have strong expertise in Android development and proven experience in enhancing and supporting mobile applications.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Enhance existing Android applications, adding new features and improving functionality based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, QA, and product managers to deliver quality mobile solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring smooth user experience and stability.
• Stay updated with the latest Android technologies and frameworks to continuously improve application performance and scalability.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Android native application development using Kotlin.
• Proven ability to develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications with strong knowledge of Android SDK and best practices.
• Hands‑on experience in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams for feature delivery.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
