ATM Engineer

Overview

This role focuses on setting up, updating, and improving ATM software, hardware, and network systems. You’ll make sure ATMs stay secure, work smoothly, and get new features. You’ll also support teams, vendors, and help with the full lifecycle of ATM products.

• Build and maintain automated software installation packages for ATMs.
• Make sure ATM software works correctly with all hardware and system components.
• Help internal teams and vendors with product issues and support needs.
• Improve ATM uptime by updating systems, building software, and preparing it for deployment.
• Assist with vendor coordination and training.
• Plan and run ATM security updates.
• Create clear processes and guidelines to ensure ATM software meets company and industry standards.
• Work with development teams to design, test, and launch new features and products.
• Provide technical advice to improve business processes and related systems.
• Handle other tasks or projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software or systems engineering experience, including at least 2 years with ATMs or financial systems.
• Experience with ATMs or electronic banking is a plus.
• Experience in programming languages and web technologies like Java, SQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with communication protocols (like TCP/IP) is useful.
• Knowledge of ISO
  8583 transaction processing is a plus.
• Experience with RKL, EPP integration, EMV chip cards, or CEN/XFS is also helpful.
