Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native Android applications
- Build and enhance modern Android architectures using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices
- Participate in the full application lifecycle: design, development, testing, release, and maintenance
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve performance and stability issues
- Implement unit tests and UI automation to ensure application reliability
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
- Stay current with Android platform updates, tools, and industry trends
- Ensure adherence to security, data protection, and mobile compliance standards
- 6+ years of native mobile application development experience
- Kotlin Coroutines
- Kotlin Flow
- Strong hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose
- Experience with Dependency Injection (Dagger/Hilt or equivalent)
- Proficiency with Android SDK, Android Studio, and modern Android UI principles
- Strong experience building and maintaining Android libraries using Gradle/Maven
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Graph
QL, JSON, and third-party API integrations - Solid understanding of Android architectural patterns:
- Working knowledge of unit testing and Android testing frameworks
- Experience with Git-based version control systems
- Experience with automated UI testing (Espresso)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and workflows (Jenkins, Fastlane)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Experience collaborating closely with designers and UX teams
- Experience building Android modules, SDKs, or frameworks (plus)
- Knowledge of mobile CI/CD best practices
- Strong understanding of UI/UX and accessibility standards
- Familiarity with:
- Bluetooth and BT Profiles
- Digital Key technologies
- OAuth 2.0
- External accessories and mobile integrations
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Familiarity with Google Play policies and app submission guidelines
